To mark International Girls in ICT Day on April 24, IThinkUPC took part in the activities organized by TechLab Manresa at UPC Manresa. The event was aimed at girls in their final years of secondary school and high school, with the goal of sparking interest in technology careers and helping to reduce the gender gap in the ICT sector.
At 12:00 p.m., Noèlia Català, Project Manager on the Analytics and Artificial Intelligence team at IThinkUPC, gave the talk “How Does the Brain of ChatGPT Work?” This practical and inspiring session introduced the students to key concepts in artificial intelligence and helped them understand how technologies that are already part of our daily lives actually work.
At IThinkUPC, we are committed to promoting female talent in the tech sector and are proud to contribute our small part to events like this, which help bridge the gap between education and the realities of the tech and business world.
This activity was organized by TechLab Manresa as part of the European MERIT project, coordinated by UPC Manresa and co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme.
