Digitization of Planning and Logistics at BASF

We digitize and optimize the planning and logistics processes of a BASF chemical production plant through the Businessmap platform.

At BASF, the world’s leading chemical company, several inefficiencies were identified stemming from the manual management of production and logistics operations at one of its plants in Catalonia. The use of physical boards and printed documents made it difficult to track tasks, detect delays, and make decisions based on real data.

To address this challenge, at IThinkUPC we implemented a comprehensive digitalization solution based on the Businessmap platform, integrating production and logistics processes with BASF’s SAP system. This transformation has eliminated manual processes, improved real-time operational visibility, and optimized decision-making based on key performance indicators.
