On May 27 and 28, the training sessions Artificial Intelligence Training for Industrial Companies, organized by ACCIÓ, will take place with the aim of bringing the practical use of AI closer to companies in the industrial sector. The sessions will combine inspiring talks and personalized consulting to help companies take their first step towards digital transformation.
In this context, Sergi Sales, Business Manager of Analytics and AI at IThinkUPC, will give a talk on real use cases of AI applied in industrial environments. Specifically, he will share three experiences that illustrate how data and artificial intelligence can improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in different production settings:
- Intelligent monitoring of a water treatment plant to detect deviations and apply corrective measures quickly.
- A Reinforcement Learning model to optimize stock based on forecasted demand in a pharmaceutical plant.
- A chatbot to consult regulatory standards and classify documents based on multiple external sources (REACH, ROHS, ECHA…).
