We are migrating the CCMA’s IT monitoring platform, based on Centreon, to a more modern version that ensures reliable and holistic monitoring of its 2,500 hosts.
The Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation (ccma.cat), with over 2,000 employees and two main headquarters in Sant Joan Despí and Barcelona, is the public institution responsible for managing Catalonia’s television channels, Catalunya Ràdio’s broadcasters, and the Corporation’s digital services, among other media operations.
The CCMA’s ICT department is responsible for ensuring the quality and 24×7 availability of its entire suite of applications and systems. Its monitoring platform, UNIMON, based on the Centreon solution, is a critical service that guarantees the continuous delivery of IT services and mitigates the risks associated with downtime.
The CCMA engaged IThinkUPC, a Centreon partner, to modernize UNIMON in order to reliably meet its future challenges while ensuring a secure and dependable migration. This involved managing risks, minimizing the impact on service, and guaranteeing the continuity of information.
