Yaencontre (yaencontre.com) is one of the leading online real estate portals in Spain and has become a reference point for searching and offering properties for purchase or rental for 19 years.

To continue its growth and quality strategy, yaencontre decided to migrate its portal platform from on-premise infrastructure to the AWS cloud. This was not a simple lift & shift migration; it required designing a new architecture that optimizes the application’s performance and developing a migration process that avoids service interruptions and data loss.

The close collaboration between the yaencontre (Dev) and IThinkUPC (Ops) teams made it possible to achieve this challenge. Creating a joint DevOps technical office was key to effective collaboration, facilitating communication and ensuring everyone shared the same vision and objectives.

As a result, the new yaencontre platform is scalable and demand-adaptive, and it is managed 24/7 by IThinkUPC. Moreover, the implementation of the CI/CD system has provided yaencontre with agility and real-time, self-service access to critical information.
